meet stefanie

Hi! I’m Stefanie Stroman, owner of Stroman Studios Calligraphy. My love for crafting started early after many nights spent around the kitchen table with my mom, rhinestoning dance costumes, making handmade cards, and scrapbooking (usually with E6000 glue all over my fingers).

I’ve always been “the girl with the good handwriting.” From cheer posters to signs and cards, I happily said yes every time, and each project only fueled my passion for art and lettering. That passion truly clicked when I discovered calligraphed wedding envelopes. It was love at first sight. I bought the tools, practiced endlessly, and even wrote my water bill in calligraphy.

Today, I’ve been providing professional calligraphy services for over 14 years. I specialize in adding thoughtful, personal details to weddings and events, teaching calligraphy classes, and working with corporate brands. I’ve had the joy of collaborating with companies like Apple, Lexus, David Yurman, Gucci, Burberry, Nationwide, West Elm, Kendra Scott, Anthropologie, and Maker’s Mark, just to name a few.

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my fiancé (aka “the Italian” — IYKYK 😉), and our sweet daughter, Rosalie Blake. When I’m not lettering, you can find me enjoying picnics in the park, live music, big bows, Peter Pan collars, and a hazelnut afternoon latte from a local coffee shop.
