THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME OF THIS DESIGN:

This design is named after a little girl who I began babysitting when she was just a very small baby. I began watching her just to make some extra cash on Friday or Saturday night while her parents had a party or event to attend. A few years later, I began babysitting Adeline as my full-time job when she was in the first grade. I’d pick her up from school, we would stop by the local Starbucks for cake pops and we would head home to do homework.

She was so very smart. She loved doing her homework and i loved watching her wheels turn as she was determined to get every answer right. At this age, she enjoyed reading and was an expert at solving all math problems.

There would be times where a math problem would leave her stumped. Instead of getting frustrated or upset, she just kept reworking it over and over and over again until she figured it out. Even if it took hours to complete, she was going to check that off of her list. It was truly facintaing to watch.

Her determination taught me a lot about trying different routes. Sometimes our road to success doesnt always look the same as everyone else’s but one common thread is determination.

Adeline is now in high school and still so very poised and incredibly smart. I dont keep in touch with her as much as i would like but, i’ll never forget the impact she made on my life.

Those lessons that she taught me back then keep me grounded and humble as i work to grow this little corner of the internet. Stay Determined. If one route doesnt work, it doesnt mean you’re a failure, it means you need to try a different route.
