Make-Up Favorites
Since i’ve started tik tok and Stroman Studios isnt my full time gig, I’ve loved recording my Instagram stories while I get ready in the morning. A few “Get Ready with Me” Fridays ago some of you began to ask what make-up I use on a day to day basis. So I curated a guide for you. These are my TRIDE and TRUE. MAC Studio Fix Foundation - I think I’ve used this foundation since high school. That’s almost 20 years in the making for those of you who aren’t counting! I wear shade 35. It’s great for when I’m tan and even when I’m not which is why it’s my go-to day to day staple! (also is 15 SPF which never hurts to try and keep the sun damage away!)
Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer - Want a good glow even in those winter months when your skin starts to resemble Casper? This is the Bronzer for YOU! They have a matte version as well but I used the highlighter version to save on time :)
Nars Blush in Orgasm - isn’t this EVERYONE’s go-to blush?! It’s the perfect combination of pink and peach and goes on relatively light so you don’t look… well you know.
Urban Decay eyeshadow in “Half Baked” - I use this eyeshadow every single day no matter what! It’s a great base for those nights you are going out but also just a great everyday single color eyeshadow. You just reminded me. Time to stock up on some more!
NYX Concealer palette - I use this palette for concealer AND to contour. It’s perfect because it includes ALL of the shades you may need for both! Use the top left shade. (the brightest color) for the corners of your eyes and under your eyebrow to make them pop!
Kat Von D Liquid Tattoo Eyeliner - I like this product for several reasons. a.) because it’s vegan b.) it stays on ALL day and night long c.) the tip. I’m terrible at “cat-eye” eyeliner and this tip is just fine enough that I don’t end up with liquid eyeliner all over my face!
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer - it’s perfect for under the eyes! If you haven’t tried this product. What are you waiting for?! it’s the BEST! I use color: Light Sand
Marc Jacobs Gel Eyeliner - I use this typically in my waterline under my eyes. I use it every. single. day. (Okay! except for those days that I stay in pajamas all day!) It’s pricey but it’s WORTH it. It basically doesn’t move once place and stays really pigmented. I love you Britney Spears but this eyeliner makes sure I don’t have that really tired hungover look going.
Estee Lauder Brow Multi-Tasker - IF YOU BUY NOTHING ELSE, BUY THIS. This product landed in my makeup bag because one day I gave up on Anastasia. Yep, I was that girl that walked into the Ulta store and had the woman working there demonstrate how to do my eyebrows. This is the tool she used and trained me on. I haven’t looked back since. It fills in your eyebrows without making them look drawn on. It’s HEAVEN SENT. Just trust me on this one.
Becca Highlighter in color Champagne Pop - I use this on the nights that I’m headed on with the girls. Just a little on the cheekbones and right down the middle of my nose and I’m ready to take on those Broadway lights!
Louis Vuitton DUPE Make Up Bag - this is the BEST $20 you’ll EVER spend on Amazon! that’s why I saved it for LAST. It’s my FAVORITE. Very roomy and I get compliments on it all of the time! (P.S.
